it's been a long voyage and heart breaking adventure... and while it's not over... i can say with some certainty that my left eye/optic nerve is back to where it was...

it was supposed to heal itself in six to eight weeks... well.. hmmmm it started nov 7, 2006... gotta love medical certainty...

granted it's not the problem of medicine... it's the finer mysteries of my body why it took so long for function to return... now, i get to wait for either a relapse or full-blown MS to become reality...

the strange thing... i'm dealing with it...

I have optic neuritis and thanks to the tons of online information, i'm stressing out, since i can't get my MRI until next friday... you'd think if someone told a doctor they might have MS, but they couldn't get the test until next week they'd pitch a fit..

alas, I am not as cool....

so, on monday i'll be calling around to get an earlier appointment. until then, i'll be wearing my ultra cool pirate patch for at least six to eight weeks and looking like an extra for POC III... could be worse... and then again.. could be better... will turner may show up and press me into service.. ah..
